Welcome to Bottesford Cricket Club founded in 1841 the club has two sides in the Gunn & Moore South Notts league on Saturdays and a Sunday side in the Grantham & Melton Cricket Association.We also field several youth sides playing mostly mid week cricket from six to fifteen years.
In 1895 Bottesford had two cricket teams, Bottesford Town and Bottesford Bible Class but the two teams became one in January 1897.
In November 1896 the club had its annual supper at the Red Lion and the landlord Mr F James is quoted in the Grantham Journal saying that this was the clubs 50 th year.
In May 1897 the club played at the Belvoir Road ground against Whatton CC who were all out for 56 and Bottesford replied with 90 for no loss of wicket.
